Bookshop raises funds

In December the Woodards Foundation organised their first pop-up bookshop to raise money for the Foundation. The bookshop was housed in a shop on Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn and sold second-hand adult and children’s books.

Open for three weeks, the bookshop had a steady and enthusiastic stream of customers, eventually raising $5,500.

This money was donated to Vinnies where it was used to purchase Christmas hampers for families in need.

A huge thank you to Aston Commercial who organised the space for the bookshop, Rhodes Hair and Spa who provided the space, Best Hooper who prepared the leases and Mosaic Creative who developed the bookshop signs and creative material.
